GLOBE.64 and GLOBE.128 by Georg Schwarz Uhlandstr. 195 D-1000 Berlin 12 Germany I wrote these two programs about five years ago, but since I have not seen anything similar yet on the C64 or the C128 I thought that perhaps other people would be interested in having a look at them. As the name already hints to GLOBE.64 and GLOBE.128 display a rotating globe on the monitor. Use RESTORE to pause and then F1 to quit or any other key to continue (those 64 users who do not have a reset switch will appreciate this feature, I guess). In the 128 version use ESC instead of F1 to exit. Don't be astonished to exit to 64 mode; GLOBE.128 actually runs in this mode (due to less complicated memory access), it just makes use of the C128's 2MHz capability to increase the pictures/second rate (or should I rather say, decrease the seconds/picture rate ?? Well, it's no Amiga or else, don't forget that, please!) while the cathode ray is off the visible screen.
