Hi there. My name is Bo Zimmerman, and I was born on October 20th, 1971 in Texas City, Texas. I've lived all over this great state, and occasionally in Tucson, Arizona. I was also in New York once, but we don't like to talk about that.
My current home is in Round Rock, which is near Austin, the capital of Texas. I share a house there with several computers and a couple of cats. I was raised by two fine parents, and have a brother and a sister, both of which are younger than I am and both quite a bit brighter. Click here if you'd like to meet them all.
I'm a 1996 graduate of Southwest Texas State University, located in beautiful San Marcos, Texas, receiving both a bachelor's and master's degree in Computer Science. I work down in Austin where I am happily doing software development. Here is a copy of my resume online for your amusement.
My interests, as stated previously, are reading, philosophy, playing pool, friends, music, movies, AD&D, programming, and tinkering with my old Commies.
Festivity and tradition, being part of my being, is well represented in my yearly
outings. Among these adventures is the Luling Watermelon Thump where Luling Black Diamonds may be found (that's me holding my next victim), the
Galveston County Livestock Show, Rodeo, and BBQ Cookoff
in my home town of Texas City, a family outing to New Braunfels for the
Wurstfest,
and a yearly venture to the forests near Houston to enjoy a bit of festivity at the
Texas Renaissance Festival.
